The sister of murdered NSW teacher Stephanie Scott has published a poem she had intended to read at her wedding today, as women across Australia post photo tributes on social media.

It is a poem from one sister to another to mark what everyone thought would be the happiest day of Stephanie Scott's life.

But instead of being read at Ms Scott's wedding, the poem was posted on Facebook as her family and friends mourned her death.

"We couldn't be happier, it's a dream come true," Kim Scott's poem, released on Saturday, read.

"To watch your sister find happiness and to say I do."

Kim posted the poem on Facebook on the day her 26-year-old sister was meant to walk down the aisle to fiance Aaron Leeson-Woolley.

Instead, the family from NSW's Riverina region are grappling with the discovery of what is believed to be Ms Scott's burned remains in isolated bushland.

Ms Scott was allegedly murdered on Easter Sunday and her body dumped in the Cocoparra National Park, near Griffith.

The high school teacher had spent the past 12 months preparing for her wedding, which was planned to take place in front of 100 guests at Eugowra on Saturday.

In her poem, Kim recalled how her little sister and Mr Leeson-Woolley met in their hometown of Canowindra growing up.

"They shared car journeys," she wrote.

"Along with dad, Stuie and me.

"There were sparks a-flying, any blind dick could see."

The pair got engaged in Thailand, Kim wrote, as Mr Leeson-Woolley got down on one knee at dinner.

"Stephanie couldn't believe it," the poem states.

"Such a shock, a surprise! The happiest moment, looking into his eyes.

"Of course she said yes, as we're all here today.

"Celebrating this couple on their beautiful wedding day."

Before what would have been a toast to the bride and groom, Kim reflected on their love as the sort that "others seek".

"I'm sure you'd all agree, that their bond is unique."

The family will hold a memorial picnic in Leeton on Saturday.
