Qantas and Kleenex among Shonky Awards winners

Australia’s most 'shonky' products have been named and shamed at the annual Choice Shonky awards ceremony today.

Top honours went to Kleenex Mansize tissue, found to be 14 per cent smaller, Ecoeggs, for stocking 13 times the hens-per-hectare requirement set out by the national code, and breakfast drink Oats Express for failing to contain whole oats or honey (as pictured on the packaging).

Australian airline Qantas was also named for its Frequent Flyer toolbar which offers a small amount of points in exchange for surveillance of users' search activity.

Computer-game maker EA was shamed for charging customers $2.48 per minute to call the helpline over problems with computer game SimCity.
