Lock up your men, Brooke Logan Forrester is heading Down Under.

Qantas is bringing actress Katherine Kelly Lang, who plays man-hungry Ms Forrester on the long-running US soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, and her fellow cast and crew to Australia next month to film several episodes.

The airline, which saw a 22 per cent spike in bookings from the US after partnering with The Ellen DeGeneres Show in March 2013, hopes to gain a similar boost in tourist numbers from its tie-up with the long-running soap.

Qantas brand and marketing executive Olivia Wirth said the partnership was a "terrific opportunity" to promote Australia in one of the most popular television programs in the world.

"We know from our experience with other successful shows that there is a spike in inquiry levels on qantas.com when these programs go to air, which then helps translate into more visitors in the months that follow," Ms Wirth said on Friday.

The Flying Kangaroo also brought the cast of US TV comedy show Modern Family, which stars Sofia Vergara and Ed O'Neill, to Australia in February 2014 for filming.

The Bold and the Beautiful has an estimated global audience of more than 30 million people per episode, according to Guinness World Records.

The US soap show, which will mark its 30th anniversary on March 23, will film in Sydney and other locations around Australia from February 12 to 17.

The show last travelled to Australia for a location shoot in 2007.
