Qatar emir to attend World Cup final in Russia - RIA

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Emir of Qatar will attend the soccer World Cup final in Russia, the RIA news agency reported on Thursday, citing Qatari ambassador to Russia.

When asked whether any bilateral meetings have been planned for the Emir so far, the ambassador said he could not confirm this, the RIA added. Russia is hosting the World Cup, which ends on July 15. Qatar will host the next tournament in 2022.
