Qld abattoir worker hurt by fallen carcass

A man has been injured after a cow carcass fell on his head while he was working at a central Queensland abattoir.

A central Queensland abattoir worker has suspected spinal injuries after a cow carcass fell on his head.

The man in his 30s was injured early Tuesday morning at the Teys Australia abattoir at Biloela.

He was taken to Biloela Hospital in a stable condition, and Workplace Health and Safety inspectors are investigating the incident.
