Almost $800,000 on advertising the Queensland government's bikie crackdown will be footed by taxpayers.
New television, radio and print ads were launched on Thursday night.
Police Minister Jack Dempsey said the ads would reassure other riders that police will only target illegal groups.
"We obviously have to ensure, as we did with firearm regulations, that the community is properly informed and knows obviously that legal bike owners have nothing to worry about," he told the ABC.
The ads would cost $793,349 and be paid for by the Attorney-General's department.
