Qld bus passengers forced to take wheel

A group of passengers helped bring a bus on the Gold Coast to a stop when the driver had a suspected medical episode.

Passengers on a bus were forced to take the wheel when the driver started veering across the motorway on the Gold Coast after having a suspected medical episode.

They managed to bring the bus, which was travelling north on the M1 at Reedy Creek on Sunday night, safely to a stop.

The driver was taken to Robina Hospital in a stable condition.
