The 38-year-old Bundaberg man, who works at a primary school in the Wide Bay-Burnett region, was arrested after his home was raided on Tuesday, the Crime and Corruption Commission says.

Officers allegedly found a computer and a number of storage devices containing child exploitation material at the property.

The man has been charged with five counts of possessing child exploitation material and will face Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The CCC, which was assisted by officers from the police child protection unit, has notified the Department of Education.
