A Queensland after-school carer is set to face court on child exploitation charges.

The 38-year-old man, who works at a primary school in the Wide Bay-Burnett region, is due to front the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Wednesday, the Crime and Corruption Commission says.

He was charged with five counts of possessing child exploitation material after a computer and a number of storage devices were seized when officers raided his home on Tuesday.
