A Queensland man allegedly mounted a footpath and struck a number of cars after leading police on a low-speed pursuit cross the Harbour Bridge and into Sydney's central business district.

Police say no one was injured on Saturday night when the 20-year-old mounted a path in a stolen Toyota Landcruiser before returning to the road and damaging six cars that were stationary in CBD traffic.

Officers smashed the windows of the Landcruiser to arrest the man from Mackay, who has been charged with multiple offences including unlicensed driving and vehicle theft.
