A man will face court on Friday charged with murdering a homeless woman whose body was found wrapped in a tarp beside a Townsville police station.
The 46-year-old victim was found in a laneway beside the Mundingburra Police Station on Wednesday morning.
Locals have told the ABC the woman had been sleeping there for days.
A 35-year-old man from Townsville has been charged with murder.
He's due to face the Townsville Magistrates Court on Friday morning, police said.
