A motorcyclist has died and another was injured when three of five machines travelling in formation crashed north of Brisbane.
Police say it appears one of the motorbikes veered into a bridge guard rail on the Bruce Highway at Elimbah on Sunday morning, a second bike collided with the first, knocking the rider off, and a third then collided with that rider.
A 43-year-old Collingwood Park man was declared dead at the scene and a 47-year-old Browns Plains man was taken to Caboolture Hospital with a shoulder injury.
