Qld must bring back Scott: Gillmeister

Former Queensland captain Trevor Gillmeister says the Maroons must welcome back veteran prop Matt Scott to the State of Origin fold in 2019.

Scott's 22-game Origin career appeared at the crossroads after he was surprisingly snubbed for the 2018 series which the Maroons lost 2-1.

But Gillmeister said he "would not hesitate" bolstering the Maroons' maligned front row by injecting the 33-year-old.
