Queensland's paramedics have been awarded a new wage agreement that brings them in line with their peers across the country.
Health Minister Steven Miles announced the new agreement on Friday, which he said was resoundingly approved by staff who were eligible to vote.
"Our hard-working Queensland paramedics, medical dispatchers and patient transport officers are here for Queenslanders when we are at our worst, so I am pleased to see this well-deserved pay increase implemented," he said in a statement.
