Four teens have been arrested after a wild 18th birthday party on the Gold Coast which degenerated into guests throwing beer bottles and fighting.

Four teens have been arrested after police shut down an out-of-control 18th birthday party on the Gold Coast.

Police say a group of drunken youths began throwing beer bottles after they were evicted from the Molendinar party and were then prevented from re-entering by security early on Sunday morning.

Officers managed to disperse the large crowd before arresting four teens, including a 15-year-old boy charged with public nuisance and a 17-year-old man charged with obstructing police.
