One of two men who escaped from a prison farm in central Queensland has been caught by police.
Jermaine Lee Anderson, 30, and Brian Illington Trent Tapim, 23, were believed to have vaulted over the low-security compound's fence late on Saturday night or early Sunday using a wheelie bin and a doona.
Police found Tapim at a home in Oakenden, near Sarina, on Monday afternoon, where they arrested him.
He was charged with escaping lawful custody and is scheduled to appear at Mackay Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Anderson is serving six years in jail for assaulting two taxi drivers in separate incidents in Rockhampton last year, during which he held a knife to their throats.
