Qld snorkeller's body found

Police believe they have located the body of a Korean-born Brisbane resident who went missing while snorkelling in southeast Queensland.

The body of a snorkeller who went missing in a southeast Queensland creek on Christmas Day has been located, police believe.

The Korean-born man was last seen about 12.30pm on Friday in Weyba Creek at Noosa.

A wide-scale search resumed at first light on Saturday, with water police scouring an area near Noosa Road.

Police divers located the body about 5pm on Saturday in the vicinity of where the man went missing.
