Qld teen charged for setting woman alight

A woman has sustained serious burns to her arms, legs and upper body after she was set alight in the Brisbane suburb of Marsden on Friday.

A Queensland teenager has been charged with setting a woman on fire.

Police allege the 17-year-old man used a flammable liquid to burn the 17-year-old woman following an argument in the South Brisbane suburb of Marsden on Friday.

She was taken to hospital with serious burns to her arms, legs and upper body, while he will front court on Monday charged with acts intended to grievous bodily harm.
