Authorities are searching bushland in Victoria's southeast for a missing Queensland teenager.

Police believe Matthew Doolan, 17, drove from Queensland to Victoria in a blue Kia Rio car, which was found on Billy Goat Bend Road near the Mitchell River National Park at Cobbannah on Sunday morning.

Search crews are scouring the park and surrounding areas.
