Qld's Lillyman to back up for Warriors

Queensland prop Jacob Lillyman's return after the second State of Origin match is the only change to the Warriors side to face NRL leaders Cronulla.

The inclusion of Queensland State of Origin prop Jacob Lillyman is the only change to the Warriors' squad to face NRL leaders Cronulla in Sydney.

Lillyman will back up on Saturday after playing in Origin II in Brisbane on Wednesday night.

"I'd love to see Jake having an outstanding game in a losing Queensland side tomorrow night and being all clear to back up for us against the Sharks," assistant coach and New South Welshman Andrew Webster said.

"It'll be great to get him back for this match."

Lillyman's inclusion in the starting 13 means fellow frontline prop Ben Matulino moves to the bench.

Five-eighth Thomas Leuluai has been named despite earlier doubts over his availability.

Leuluai came off the field in the ninth minute against the Roosters with a bloodied face from a head knock and sat out the rest of the match.

The result against the Roosters marked the Warriors' third win in a row and it temporarily lifted them into the top eight before they finished the round in 10th spot.

The Sharks, who are coming off a bye, have won 10 in a row to sit two points clear at the top of the table.

Warriors: Tuimoala Lolohea, David Fusitu'a, Blake Ayshford, Solomone Kata, Ken Maumalo, Thomas Leuluai, Shaun Johnson, Jacob Lillyman, Issac Luke, Albert Vete, Bodene Thompson, Ryan Hoffman (capt), Simon Mannering. Res: Nathaniel Roache, Sam Lisone, Ben Maulino, Charlie Gubb, Ata Hingano, Toafofoa Sipley.
