The Queensland Rugby League has defended its ticket pricing for next week's State of Origin and is confident Suncorp Stadium will be sold out for the game.
Tickets in several categories remain unsold for the clash between Queensland and NSW next week, with the cheapest offering being restricted view tickets at $61.17 dollars.
The next cheapest tickets are white category at $127.44 each.
At 1pm on Thursday, only three ticket allocations had been exhausted for the game, the family, bronze and restricted view tickets for the NSW "Blatchy's Blues" section.
Platinum, gold and silver tickets priced more than $200 were available throughout the stadium.
QRL managing director Rob Moore said fears fans were being priced out of the game were unfounded and costs were suitable for a "marquee" sporting event.
"State of Origin is the biggest sporting brand in Australia and is priced similar to other premium events," Moore told AAP in a statement.
"Origin II is shaping as the pivotal game in the 2016 Holden State of Origin series and we look forward to watching a fantastic spectacle in front of a capacity crowd at the home of rugby league in Queensland."
The NRL said in a statement that while "limited" tickets were available for the game, it was also confident of a sellout.
