Queen of Bounce sets twerking record

Miley Cyrus may be the queen of twerking, but New Orleans rappers and self-proclaimed "Queen of Bounce", Big Freeda, has set the twerking Guinness World Record.

Miley Cyrus may be the queen of twerking, but New Orleans rappers and self-proclaimed "Queen of Bounce", Big Freeda, has set the twerking Guinness World Record.

Hundreds of twerkers, young and old, gathered to New York's Herald Square to help Big Freeda set the record for Most People Twerking Simultaneosly, Fuse reported. 

A minimum of 250 people were needed to set the record, however 358 dancers flocked the streets for two minutes straight, twerking to dance music.

Charlie Weisman, from Guinness World Record was there to make sure everyone were abiding the rules.

"250 participants needed to twerk, simultaneously, using proper technique," the Guinness official announced at the end of the event.

"Today, I am happy to announce a new Guinness World Record with a total of 358 participants."
