After her whirlwind visit to Brisbane, where she met victims of the Queensland floods, the Queen will be spending a less frenetic day in Canberra.
She is due to visit the Australian War Memorial and view the Afghanistan Memorial, where she will lay a wreath on Tuesday morning.
Later in the day the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh will meet Australian Defence Force personnel.
On Monday the Queen spent just over four hours in Brisbane, where she took a cruise on the Brisbane River before meeting about 200 people who lost family or homes, and the volunteers who helped them, during the Queensland floods.
