Queensland man killed after 4WD rollover

A man been killed and his passenger has been flown to Brisbane after the 4WD they were traveling in left the road and rolled west of Toowoomba.

One man has died and another is in hospital after the 4WD they were travelling in left the road and rolled in southern Queensland.

The 30-year-old driver died at the scene in Tara, west of Toowoomba, just after 8am on Saturday, police said.

His 19-year-old passenger was taken to Tara hospital with back injuries and later transported to Brisbane Hospital by chopper. The vehicle rolled on Taylors Road, Tara, near the intersection of Tulagrie Road.
