RAAF jets complete 2nd Iraq mission

Four Australian Super Hornets have conducted operations over Iraq, again without dropping bombs.

Australian combat aircraft have successfully completed their second day of combat operations.

A total of four RAAF Super Hornets - operating in pairs - departed from the Australia's Persian Gulf support base on Monday to conduct air patrols over Iraq.

Again no bombs were dropped.

The aircraft returned to base without incident.
