A young rabbit that caused a security scare at Adelaide Airport last month has found a new home.

Boeing the bunny was left in a shopping bag in a toilet cubicle at the airport.

But when the bag was spotted, Federal Police and the bomb squad were called in.
"They were surprised and relieved to discover the bag's unusual contents, a small rabbit wearing a red harness," the RSPCA said.

The bunny was named Boeing in keeping with his discovery and has now been adopted by a family at Encounter Bay, south of Adelaide.
