Perth Arena will officially be known as RAC Arena from September with the motoring group securing naming rights for at least five years.
The deal is part of the McGowan Labor government's election pledge to sell the naming rights to two major venues to help fix WA's ailing budget.
"We inherited not only a record level of state debt, but also the perverse situation where WA taxpayers were forking out compensation for Perth Arena to not have a naming sponsor," Treasurer Ben Wyatt said in a statement on Sunday.
