Raiders out for NRL revenge over Titans

Canberra forward Sia Soliola says Gold Coast's round four NRL win over the Raiders still hurts as they prepare for a return clash at Robina this Sunday.

Gold Coast stole two NRL points off Canberra back in March and now the Raiders want them back.

Ricky Stuart's men were on course for a comfortable home win in the clash in late March, opening up a 20-6 lead with 15 minutes to go.

But the Titans pulled together a remarkable comeback, capped off with John Olive's controversial match-winning try in the dying seconds of the match to secure a 24-20 victory.

Raiders forward Sia Soliola admits the pain of that defeat is still raw and will play some motivation ahead of Canberra's trip to the Gold Coast to take on the Titans this Sunday.

"They got us here in the back of the game," Soliola said.

"To move forward you've got to acknowledge what's happened. It still hurts the way they sort of stole that one from us."

The Raiders were beaten by Brisbane in their last outing before enjoying a much-needed bye last weekend.

While Soliola and his teammates had their feet up, the Titans were moving back into the top eight with a 30-10 win over struggling Manly at Robina on Monday night.

Soliola says that display was typical of the Titans, who he says are one of the most resilient teams he's faced in 2016.

"They play 80 minutes," he said.

"They're always there or thereabouts. We've just got to try and compete."
