Raiders' Rapana accepts one-match NRL ban

Canberra winger Jordan Rapana has received a one-match NRL suspension for a shoulder charge on Melbourne's Nelson Asofa-Solomona.

Canberra star winger Jordan Rapana will miss the Raiders' NRL clash with South Sydney after being handed a one-match suspension.

Rapana's early guilty plea over a shoulder charge on Melbourne's Nelson Asofa-Solomona in Saturday's match means the Raiders will be without their most prolific try scorer for next weekend's clash with Rabbitohs.

Rapana's teammate Sia Soliola is expected to face a much heavier punishment when he faces the judiciary on Tuesday night over a dangerous contact charge for knocking out Billy Slater.
