Rain stops play in women's T20

Play has resumed in the women's Twenty20 cricket international in Geelong after a rain delay led to a revised Australian target.

Australia must score 35 off five overs to win the second women's Twenty20 cricket international at Geelong.

Rain stopped play for 32 minutes on Sunday, with the Southern Stars 3-35 off eight overs after New Zealand's White Ferns scored 9-101 from their 20 overs.

A maximum of 13 overs were possible in the Australian innings and their revised target under the Duckworth-Lewis system was 70.

Rain is forecast throughout Sunday afternoon and evening in Geelong, with the women's match followed by the Australia-Sri Lanka men's T20.
