Heavy rain in Bulawayo brought a premature end to the tri-series one-day international between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
Only 13.3 overs were possible before a thunderstorm forced the players off and left unplayable conditions in its wake, Zimbabwe having reached 2-55 in that time.
Brian Chari was run out and Chamu Chibhabha fell lbw to Nuwan Kulasekara, with Craig Ervine making 23 not out before the weather intervened.
As a result of the abandonment, the home side need to defeat the West Indies in their final round-robin match to have a chance of reaching the final.
