Redfern development gets green light

After a long wait, the News South Wales government has approved construction to begin next year on a new development at the Block in Redfern.

Planning approval has been granted for 62 homes, commercial buildings and 42 student flats.

The decision has been welcomed by the Aboriginal Housing Corporation.
