While failing to topple Mike Rann's Labor government at the election, Ms Redmond, who was first appointed Liberal leader in June last year, oversaw a rejuvenated party which gained a seven per cent swing.
Her deputy is former Liberal leader Martin Hamilton-Smith, who defeated Iain Evans 10 votes to eight.
Former deputy Steven Griffiths did not contest the position.
