Injured Wallabies centre and Queensland captain Samu Kerevi and lock Rob Simmons are hopeful of returning for the Reds' final two Super Rugby games after suffering injuries in Samoa.

Kerevi was diagnosed with a low-grade ankle syndesmosis injury from his side's Super Rugby loss to the Blues in Apia last Friday, which ended his hopes of playing in Australia's three June Tests.

Simmons injured the AC joint in his shoulder at training last week but has avoided surgery.
