Regime bombs kill 16 at Aleppo funeral

At least 16 people are dead and several others wounded after Syrian government helicopters dropped two barrel bombs over a funeral in a neighbourhood in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo.

The death toll could rise because some of the wounded are in a serious condition.

The victims were offering their condolences to the families of 15 people killed on Thursday in a similar attack in the south of Aleppo.
