Regis buys Masonic Care Queensland

Regis Healthcare will buy Masonic Care Queensland assets for $163 million, comprising 711 operational places at six aged care facilities across 4 locations.

The majority of the facilities are single bed rooms with occupancy of 98%.

The company will look to apply its management systems and processes to boost earnings of the business.

Regis CEO Ross Johnston said the facilities are high quality, demonstrated by strong occupancy and compliance track record. The company already has a presence in Brisbane and Cairns to assist in integration.
