A grief-stricken relative of a murdered Melbourne teenager has launched a furious tirade at the killer in court, screaming expletives at him as she was held back by security staff.
The fiery scene played out in the Supreme Court on Thursday during a pre-sentence hearing for Thomas Kelson, who killed Cayleb Hough and dumped his body in an old mineshaft.
Kelson, 28, pleaded guilty in June to the bashing murder of 17-year-old Cayleb, whose body was found in the Lerderderg State Park near Macedon in March 2016.
As details of the crime were recounted in court, an emotional woman stood up and started shouting at Kelson as he sat in the dock.
"You are f***ed!" she yelled, pushing past another family member towards Kelson.

"I'm going to f***ing get you!"
The woman was restrained by security staff and escorted from the courtroom, her cries echoing through the halls.
Earlier, Cayleb's aunt detailed the heartbreak of losing her beloved nephew at such a young age.
"He meant the world to me and he was a beautiful boy," Karen Hough said.
"He was caring, loyal, loving and kind and did not deserve to have his life of 17 years taken away."
Ms Hough said Cayleb liked cooking and playing football, and had spoken about wanting a family of his own, but this had all been stolen from him.
"I will never get to say 'love you mate' or hear 'love you Kaz' ever again," Ms Hough said.
Prosecutors say Kelson bashed the boy at a Collingwood house, believing he had harmed Kelson's father.
Kelson bundled the injured teenager into his car and set off for an abandoned mineshaft, stopping to fatally strike him with knuckle dusters on the way.
He will be sentenced at a later date by Justice Andrew Tinney.
