The Melbourne Renegades have defeated crosstown rivals the Stars in a rain-reduced WBBL match at the MCG.
The Stars made 3-127 in 20 overs on Sunday but rain halted play before the Renegades could respond.
Conditions soon cleared and the Renegades raced to 0-45, with opener Rachel Priest belting seven fours in her quickfire 31, before rain interrupted play for another 40 minutes.
The Renegades' target was revised to 52 in eight overs under the Duckworth/Lewis method and they quickly reached it with 15 balls to spare and nine wickets in hand.
The match was played in front of a WBBL record crowd of 24,547, with more than 80,000 fans tipped to attend the men's clash later on Sunday.

Superstar captain Meg Lanning had earlier helped the Stars reach a handy total, hitting six fours in her 64 off 53 balls.
Lanning and Emma Inglis combined for a 94-run stand, the second-highest partnership of the WBBL season.
Lanning later questioned whether the revised target should have been increased after the Stars took the wicket of Priest when play resumed.
"I'm just going to clarify with the umpires because I'm not sure," she said.
"I genuinely thought when you could take wickets, the Duckworth/Lewis score goes up but apparently not. That's just the way it is. The Renegades came out and batted well in (their) innings and they've come away with the win."
