Nerves aren't getting the better of anxious Australian rookie batsman Nic Maddinson - for now.
Chatty opener Matt Renshaw admits he has had to bite his tongue in the dressing room so he doesn't add to teammate Maddinson's anxiety.
The NSW left-hander is sweating on making runs - and plenty of them - at the day-night first Test against Pakistan in Brisbane after a horror debut.
Maddinson was bowled for a 12-ball duck in Australia's third Test win over South Africa in Adelaide last month.
It was a peach of a delivery from Kagiso Rabada.

And using a pink ball.
But Maddinson knows he has plenty to prove when he finally gets out to the crease.
He spent Thursday waiting in the sheds as Australia cruised to 3-288 by day one stumps at the Gabba.
And Renshaw is determined not to make matters worse.
"I try to keep away from him (Maddinson) because I seem to talk a bit too much when I get out," Renshaw said.
"I will try to keep away from everyone just so I don't annoy them."
Renshaw successfully overcome his own bout of Gabba nerves on Thursday.
The England-born Queenslander ditched his cautious approach at his homeground with an entertaining 71 - his maiden half century in his second Test.
"I was a little bit more nervous this morning than I thought I would be (at his homeground)," Renshaw said.
"But as soon as I walked on to the ground for anthems and heard the crowd I was just more excited than nervous really.
"Everyone's disappointed when they get out but I got 71 and it's my best innings in Test cricket."
