Report calls for action to end forced marriages

A new report into forced marriage and slavery in Australia is calling on the federal government to devote more resources to breaking the cycle of violence and poverty.

Anti- slavery Australia says girls as young as ten are being coerced into marriage, and it's urging the government to speed up plans to make the practice a criminal offence.
