Residents in the Western Australian town of Brigadoon have been told they can return to their homes, with firefighters containing a bushfire that was threatening their properties.
The Fire and Emergency Services Authority says the area in Perth's north-eastern outskirts is now considered safe.
It says there are still active pockets of fire and is warning residents to remain alert and prepared to flee, as the fire isn't yet under control.
Sheds, fencing and out-buildings have been destroyed in the blaze which has so far burnt through about 240 hectares of bushland.
Four firefighters have also been treated for minor injuries sustained while fighting the blaze.

Meantime a total fire ban has now been declared for the Perth Metropolitan area and surrounding shires, due to today's forecast top of 36 degrees.
The ban current until 7.00pm today outlaws cooking on an open fire, moving vehicles or equipment across a paddock, harvesting and hot work such as metal work or grinding.
