Australian retail trade at current prices rose 0.7 per cent in July to a seasonally adjusted $20.4 billion, from an upwardly revised $20.250 billion in June, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) said today.

The median market forecast was for retail sales to have risen by 0.4 per cent in the month.
