Reynolds to make NRL return next week

South Sydney have received a boost with halfback Adam Reynolds cleared of major injury and will miss just one week.

NSW and South Sydney have a received a major boost with halfback Adam Reynolds cleared of a serious shoulder injury.

Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire said the diminutive No.7 would be back for the side's crunch clash with NRL premiers North Queensland next week.

"We've had some good news about Adam, he's back next week," Maguire told the Nine Network.

Reynolds suffered a dislocated shoulder in NSW's State of Origin II loss to Queensland on Wednesday and was missing for Souths' clash with Penrith on Friday night.

But after undergoing scans, he was cleared of structural damage, allaying fears he was set for an extended stint on the sidelines.
