The Australian dollar fell belowparity with the greenback earlier today.

Action from the Federal Reserve along with data showing a contracting in China's manufacturing sector saw investors pull away from risky assets like the Aussie.



Now, some experts are saying the Australian dollar, which hit a high of almost US$1.12 a few months ago, could stay below parity for a while.
