After six years in the top job, CBA CEO Ralph Norris is stepping down.
The former Air New Zealand Chief Executive is giving up his $16.2m a year position, deciding it's the right time to go.
He's successfully managed to steer the company through the global financial crisis, making smart and cheap acquisitions along the way.
But he infuriated customers, when he lifted variable interest rates, by almost double the Reserve Bank move, in December 2010.
