Roadkill isn't the first thing that comes to most people's mind when they're planning what to make for dinner, but 63-year-old biologist Len Zell says it is definitely worth trying.
"The first time I thought roadkill could be good food was when I saw a group of Indigenous people eating a snake and I asked for some," he said.
"And as a consequence I've had reptiles, birds, mammals and fish given to me by people who had the rights to have it."
He said while some were revolted by his penchant for roadkill others just put it down to his personality.
