Robbie will be back says Benji

Benji Marshall believes Robbie Farah remains one of the NRL's best hookers and has backed him to continue his career in the top grade.

However Marshall has no idea if he and his good friend and premiership-winning Wests Tigers teammate will enjoy a dream reunion at St George Illawarra next season.

What Marshall is sure of though is that Farah, who was dumped to reserve grade by Tigers coach Jason Taylor last week, will play in the NRL again.

"Absolutely," Marshall said

"He is the most creative dummy half in the game and probably the way the Tigers play they play a lot of the ball off the ground from dummy half, so if he can find a club that can encourage that movement and creating numbers out of dummy half I think he would be a great fit."

Farah has been linked to a move to the Dragons after his latest fallout with Taylor despite being under contract to the Tigers through 2017. But off-contract Marshall is just as unsure about his own future.

"I am not sure I don't even know what I am doing, I just don't know," he said.

"I think they are still working on Reiny (Mitch Rein) and I think for the club keeping local juniors and locking them up is important."

Dragons hooker Rein is off contract at the end of this season too and has been enduring protracted contract negotiations.

Marshall, who was there at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday to see Farah line-up for the Tigers against Newtown in NSW Cup, didn't want to buy into the feud between Farah and Taylor.

"I don't want to get into that, all I do is support my mate," he said.

"He is a great player and a great mate of mine and if was the other way around he would be supporting me the same

"It has got nothing to do with me what is happening there, I have my own dramas.

"It is hard to see a mate go through tough times, that is the hardest part.

"Robbie is a big boy, he can take care of his own dramas and I will take care of my own."
