Hey Dad! actor Robert Hughes has been sentenced to at least six years in prison for sexually and indecently assaulting young girls.
The charges relate to the abuse of girls during the 1980s and 1990s, at the height of his fame playing Martin Kelly in the hit Seven Network sitcom.
Hughes, who sat in the corner of the dock at Sydney's District Court on Friday, remained expressionless as the sentence was handed down.
He was sentenced to a maximum of 10 years and nine months.
His partner, talent agent Robyn Gardiner, who supported him throughout the trial, was not in court.
Judge Zahra said Hughes, who continued to deny the charges, had no remorse or insight into his offending.
While Hughes was charged with attacks on four girls, throughout the trial the court heard "tendency evidence" from other women, including family members.

Family members of the victims hugged in court as the sentence was handed down.
His earliest date of release will be April 2020, when he will be aged 71.
Speaking outside court, Hughes's lawyer Greg Walsh said that the actor was "devastated".
"My reaction is that it's a very severe sentence. It's still a bit of a shock at this stage," he told reporters.
"I think you would describe it as a crushing sentence."
He said they would be appealing both the sentence and conviction.
