Robinson re-signs with Sydney Swans in AFL

Dan Robinson, recognised as one of the Swans' brightest talents, has signed on for two more seasons with the AFL club.

Sydney utility Dan Robinson is the latest player to sign a contract extension with the AFL club.

The 22-year-old has agreed to a further two years and he joins Kieren Jack, Nick Smith, Luke Parker and Gary Rohan in recommitting to the Swans this season.

Robinson, who made his senior debut last season, hasn't played since round seven because of a shoulder injury that needed reconstructive surgery.

Regarded as one of the Swans' emerging talents, Robinson has returned to the training paddock.

"Dan has showed versatility and poise in his short career so far, and although he hasn't played since injuring his shoulder, we believe he has a bright future with the Swans," general manager of football Tom Harley said.
