Coach Trent Robinson has launched another scathing assessment of the NRL's bunker after Sydney Roosters' 24-20 loss to Canterbury on Thursday night.
Robinson was highly critical of a controversial call to award a try to NSW back-rower Josh Jackson in the 56th minute that put the Bulldogs ahead for the first time in the game.
After calling it a provisional try, the onfield referees refereed Jackson's try, in which hooker Michael Lichaa aided him as he fought with Aidan Guerra, before the bunker gave the green light.
Robinson was livid about the call.
"That was a no try, it was just an error again from the bunker, I just don't understand it," he said.
"I looked at it on a laptop in a changeroom and I saw Aidan Guerra's hand pushed by Lichaa and they have I don't know how many angles they need to see that and they just get it wrong.
"If you are going to spend that money, if you are going to have those camera angles then get it right.
"You guys (the media) need to ask questions. Because we are down the bottom of the ladder, we will move on and we will get a silent phone call and saying sorry we got it wrong."
Robinson said he had no faith in the bunker officials and didn't know if he would bother to take the matter up with referees boss Tony Archer.
"I am a fan of the bunker, but you can't have all those camera angles and get it wrong, it is so important, for a team like us for morale, for the effort,," Robinson said.
"Some guy sits in a box and doesn't see Aidan Guerra's hand pushed, it is an illegal play, you just can't get that stuff wrong, not with the promises that got made with this bunker.
"It is 101. But you get an apology and you move on but you are sitting on the same amount of points.
"It is the rant of a losing coach I guess. But it is just unacceptable. who is holding them accountable?"
It is the second time this year Robinson has launched a verbal assault on the bunker. He did likewise after the Roosters' controversial Anzac Day loss to St George Illawarra.
